Christ with two donors on a tympanum from Szentkirály

The largely semicircular relief may have originally filled the tympanum of a jambed portal. In the middle is Christ seated on a throne with a halo decorated with a cross behind his head. His right hand is raised in prayer, while his left rests in the folds of his robe, clutching a book. On his right is the donor namely the commissioner on one knee, dressed in secular attire with a model of a church in his hand. On Christ's left is the figure of a woman in long clothes, kneeling. In her hand is a dish that refers to an object - a cup or baptismal font - donated to the church for liturgical use. The material used in the carving is white marble, and there are traces of an earlier profiling on it - thus it once must have been part of a Roman building or sarcophagus.
